Higher Degree Research scholarship opportunities are now available with AUS HEARTS!
Up to two PhD/MPhil scholarships are being offered to support aspiring researchers located in Far West and Western NSW to undertake research in improving the management of hypertension in rural, regional and remote NSW.
Applicants will be prioritised in the order outlined below:
- Domestic student residing in Western and Far West NSW, followed by:
- Domestic student residing in other regional, rural or remote areas or low socio-economic areas of Australia, followed by:
- International student from a low- and middle-income country (LMIC).
People with an interest in rural health, health equity and/or quality improvement, and experience working in the health system are highly encouraged to apply.
An online information session will be held on Wednesday 4 February 2026 at 12:00pm (AEDT). Applications close on Tuesday 17 February 2026.
